This course provides students with the basic principles and foundation needed to apply the necessary skills for blood collection procedures in a laboratory setting.
Hands on Phlebotomy Training
During this course students will preform hands on training in learning how to preform patient preparation for venipuncture, capillary punctures, label specimen tubes, designate status priorities, proper disposal of bio-hazardous material, and correct usage of PPE gear.
